Abstract

Triple-negative breast cancer is a biological subtype; its rate in the population is 10—24%. It is characterized by an aggressive course, low survival, and the specific features of tumor dissemination and frequently accompanied by a BRCA1 mutation. The author describes the specific features of metastasis and the possibilities of drug therapy and estimates prognosis as compared to other biological subtypes of breast cancer.
