Abstract

This paper aims to measure how the injection of money into the Spanish economy as a result of tourist spending contributes more or less to public income, job creation and new business opportunities depending on the air transport tourists choose. Input/Output (I/O) analysis is used to identify the Direct, Indirect and Induced Effect in both aggregate terms and also sector by sector. © 2012 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
