Abstract

The described web-based software system was developed to help to find, access and eliminate risks of a software system. It provides an opportunity to look at specific risks of a software product in detail. The application allows to evaluate risks of software products and to apply strategies to mitigate these risks when it is necessary. The process, which consists of risk assessment and risk neutralization has been established. This approach is proposed to help to improve the dependability of software systems. Database with historical data on errors and risks was developed. Using the information on system failures, stored in the database, it is possible to improve the information system, to prevent the repetition of failures in future projects.
