So far today, most of routing protocols in ad-hoc network have been evaluated by simulation. However, the simulation usually does not reflect the impacts of real environment on the performance of the routing protocols. In this paper, we have implemented Link Quality Distance Vector (LQDV) routing protocol which is a reliable routing protocol in static wireless networks on Arduino platform. We also have evaluated the performance of our LQDV protocol implementation on a real environment. Furthermore, we introduce a simple way to help developers to create implementations based on Arduino platform and Xbee module.
