Abstract

Our concept of Intelligent Multi Agent brings a new paradigm in Distributed Computation System. Earlier models of distributed computation use close relationships among computers, while using this new paradigm of Intelligent Multi Agent, each computer is autonomous without any memory nor clock sharing. Among the capabilities of this Intelligent Multi Agent are: I. each agent can receive, share, and distribute some tasks to others; II. some agents can cooperatively build up a computation; III. each agent can send messages via communication networks; IV. each agent can define its own capability, detect others' capability, and calculate the total capability of the integrated multi agent system. This research aims at applying the concept of Intelligent Multi Agent for the purpose of finding transcription factors and their binding sites for M. tuberculosis organism. Using Multi Agent approach, the complex computation of DNA sequence data processing can be simplified and be performed efficiently. © 2008 Springer-Verlag.
