Abstract

Environ Health Perspect 129(4):47002, 2021, https://doi.org/10.1289/EHP7886 Equation 9 contains the variable pi, which represents number of exposed persons. However, the text incorrectly defines ni as the number of exposed persons. The text in the last sentence of the second paragraph of the “Methods” section that reads “Numbers of expelled virus particles in a ventilated room” should instead read “…and pi is the number of exposed persons.” The following text was added to the description of Equation 11 in the “Methods” section “Dose” for clarification: “The number N in Equation 11 represents the time-integrated numbers of expelled RNA copies of the virus and therefore has the dimension of time, and not the number of expelled RNA copies of the virus. Division of N as presented in Equation 11 by the exposure time T provides the numbers of expelled virus RNA copies.”.
