The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between learning motivation and learning strategies in robotics learning. 37 elementary school students participated in this study. The RMSLQ questionnaire was used to collect data about student learning motivation and learning strategies in robotics learning. The results indicated that students showed high motivation and used a variety of learning strategies in learning robotics. Moreover, form the result of correlation analysis, it was found that both cognitive and meta-cognitive strategy and resource management strategy had significant positive correlation with students' control believe. In the future, more attention should be paid on developing different learning activities or learning mechanisms to improve students' control belief in learning robotics to improve their leaning strategies. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.
