Abstract

International negotiations are part of the underlying fundamentals that ensure the success of business deals in the nuclear industry. International negotiations offer a myriad of complexities from different legal and political systems, languages and religions, cultures and traditions. These are key elements that negotiators must know how to handle if they are to be successful. For example, it is advantageous to know beforehand what will attract foreign customers before actually meeting them. Moreover, building good relationships is even more important than having the best product or technology.
