Abstract

We have designed an embedded control system based on digital signal processor (DSP) for multi-negative-feedback-loop control, and applied it in a CPT atomic clock. The size of the circuit is 10 cm 3, and the power consumption is 200 mW. A CPT atomic clock is built and close loop locked by connecting the embedded control system and a physics package and the expected performances are achieved. © 2012 Springer-Verlag GmbH Berlin Heidelberg.
