Genetic correlations within and among 2 environments (host plant species) are presented for pupal weight and development time in a polyphagous herbivore, Liriomyzia sativae (Diptera: Agromyzidae), known to experience genotype-environment interaction in development time on these 2 hosts. While pupal weight is significantly genetically correlated across hosts, development time is not. Pupal weight and development time are significantly positively correlated only for larvae reared on one of the hosts. This suggests that genetic covariance matrices may be more variable across environments than previously recognized.-from Author
