Abstract

This study has been focused on grasping the possibilities of the change of brain waves and baduk skills, whose data were obtained both before and after the neuro-feedback from 1th July, 2010 to 30th September, 2010. Brain wave activities were measured by performing the linear-analysis of the data obtained on the frontal lobe of research subjects (the experimental group of 10 baduk players, and the control group of 10) after the neuro-feedback training. The data show that the experimental group has the higher mean difference than the control group, and there were statistically significant differences in Attention Quotient (right) (P=0.049), emotional quotient (P=0.025), and Stress Resistance Quotient (left) (P=0.004) and (right) (P=0.003). This means that the improved brain function quotient can lead to improved baduk skills through efficiency-optimization training. © 2012 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
