Abstract

The research is based on the implementation of the game as a facilitator of knowledge, through the application of playful activities, which sought the development and simplification of concepts, through a qualitative research approach of participatory action. Thus, through an initial diagnosis, it was observed that the students had great difficulties in understanding basic operations, getting to have mistakes in 50% of the problems planned, therefore, through the playfulness, games were established which, when evaluated, reflected noticeable progress, expressed in successes in 73% of the problems; reducing the error to 26.7%, thus decreasing by 23.3 percentage points compared to the context exposed in the diagnostic workshop. Thanks to this, it was possible to conclude that playfulness favors learning in students, since it promotes their creativity, interest and motivation, making evident how fundamental these alternative methods are in the academic process, allowing a more integral formation.
