Augmentation of bladder is usually done with ileum. However in patients with unilateral nonfunctional kidney with gross hydroureteronephrosis; nephrectomy with ureterocystoplasty is an option. This technique is preferable, since it avoids the use of bowel in urinary tract and the associated electrolyte imbalances of bowel; especially in patients with decreased renal function [1–7].
