Abstract

After presenting reminders about product and process knowledge, this paper describes a specific knowledge called in this paper "shared knowledge", which is built from a mapping between both these knowledge. Then, a specific approach based on "workers" is proposed to extract data from the different IT components, to create this shared knowledge and to capitalize for the future development projects. Finally, different industrial examples are presented to illustrate the shared knowledge capitalization interest. © 2010 IFIP International Federation for Information Processing.
