Abstract

The radial artery approach is becoming an increasingly common access site for diagnostic and interventional coronary procedures. In the USA, the radial approach is used in <5 % of cases. Worldwide, radial artery access is utilized in ∼20 % of procedures (29 % if the USA is excluded)
