This paper highlights the relation between main contributors of costs in ERP systems which include architecture, implementation, integration, maintenance, training and vendor consultation and provides ways to reduce these. Cloud computing, SOA, EAI and ASP model for ERP implementation provide a number of ways of reducing costs. © 2013 Springer.
