Abstract

As the Big Data is handled in the modern Internet, it needs various efficient search methods to retrieve the required information in the flood of information. In this paper, we propose a new Hierarchical Search Interface by Self-Organizing search method with a smartphone. The users can search the objective terms by pushing buttons for each adaptive hierarchical categories without any input of keyword. We describe the experimental results and the effectiveness of the proposed system is confirmed by the prototype simulation. © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media Dordrecht.
