Abstract

The family can play an important role in the prevention of suicide if it is capable of aiding the mental health care services in the early detection and management of family members at risk. In order to attain this goal, the whole family should be informed in how to prevent suicide. © 2008 Barrero; licensee BioMed Central Ltd.
