This paper discusses the no-place concept under the simultaneous emergence of global cities and the wearing down of industrial districts. A typology of no place is proposed focused on the change of the urban structure and its integration disruption processes. Thinking about developing instruments of a new urbanism (post-globalization), the proposal is to prioritize and intervene no-places resulting from the dying industrial city, of global mobility networks thought only in global functional and corporate terms, and of mercantilization with the fragmentation of the historical hubs.
