Abstract

The basic information allows the auditor to take a look of the actual situation of the building and facilities and can be gathered from the technical documentation and administrative documentation that the client provides. This chapter has the objective of providing criteria and methods to effectively manage, in an orderly and efficient manner, this phase which, although preliminary, is nonetheless strategic. In order to support this phase, a set of checklists, discussed in the chapter, are made available as downloadable files for this book. © Springer-Verlag London 2013.
