Abstract

The main challenge of health education in schools today is rather to raise their awareness on their original role, i.e. promoting health instead of shifting health issues onto them. Progress can be made in this field provided people become aware of the complexity of education, which resists any shortcuts or miracle solutions, and of the fact that the primary aim of schools is to not to fight against any plague but to educate future citizens and ensure they all succeed.
