A 5-day SETI program has been run at the Nancay Observatory in April 1987 at 18 and 21 cm wavelengths. No received signal can be attributed to an extraterrestiral source. But the analysis of the receiver output shows a population of strong interfering signals, of yet unknown origin. Various methods of estimating the mean power per channel for data reduction are also discussed.
