Abstract

We demonstrate that the electron emission from atoms generated by an attosecond pulse train made of both odd and even harmonics in the presence of a weak IR field can be temporally controlled on the attosecond time scale. In addition, we show that such electron emission carries information about the relative phase between consecutive odd and even harmonics in the attosecond pulse train.
