Abstract

We report successful treatment of adult respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) with artificial surfactant (40mg/kg, Colfosceril Palmitate, 'Exosurf', Wellcome) in an infant with severe Pneumocystis carinii pneumonitis. © 1995 Springer-Verlag.
