Kate had a successful year in our Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program. She was an outstanding student in university coursework, a gifted student teacher, and among the fortunate few to be first hired from her cohort. Talented in drama, singing, movement, and creativity, Kate brought her passions into her primary classroom and engaged the students on the carpet with her vocal inflections, theatrical facial expressions, and infectious laugh as she read aloud, taught them songs, and infused gestures and movement into their activities.
