Abstract

Objectives: This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows:. To assess the benefits and harms of less frequent HD (defined as twice-weekly HD sessions of not less than 3 hours/session) compared to conventional HD (defined as thrice-weekly sessions of 3 to 5 hours/session) for patients with ESKD on maintenance HD.
