Abstract

The inefficiencies that affect current PCE cooperation based on PCE Communication Protocol (PCEP) in multi-layer networks are presented. A Vertical Approach is proposed to guarantee effective TE solutions while limiting the amount of exchanged information. © 2007 Optical Society of America.
