Abstract

The study, first phase of an applied research on the Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria, aims to identify the best organizational solutions for the cultural-tourist offer of specific territorial contexts, such as inner areas. The paper intends to deepen the contribution of economic-estimative evaluations to the construction of an experimental reticular DMO (Destination Management Organization) to support the local development processes of areas with an unexpressed cultural potential. The study deals with the implications connected with an organizational-managerial model of the Destination, as a support tool for the decision-making process of the network construction in order to guarantee an added value in the tourist chain.
