Conceptual basis for learning: Frameworks for older adult learning

Abstract

Learning activities are realised during the whole lifespan in different settings and situations. Older adults do learn too. Research about this "new" public is recent, but several conceptual approaches exist. The aim of this paper is to analyse different positions to identify and argue key-aspects for research on older adult education.
