Abstract

Controller Area Network (CAN) Controller Area Network (CAN)is a multi-master serial busMulti-master serial busthat allows an efficient transmission of data between different nodes in the industrial bus communication. The advantage features of CANController Area Network (CAN)protocol include flexibility, reliability, robustnessRobustnessand standard and can support real-time communicationReal-time communication. Since CANController Area Network (CAN)is message-based and not address-based, it is especially suited when data is needed by more than one location. CANController Area Network (CAN)is ideally suited in applications requiring in a large number of short messages with high reliabilityHigh reliabilityin rugged operating environments.
