Abstract

This paper demonstrates the detailed analysis and synthesis of the different performance parameters of microstrip rectangular patch antenna. The effect of the length of antenna, width of antenna and dielectric constant with respect to applied frequency is demonstrated. The performance of the different parameters is explained mathematically and simulated with the help of MATLAB software. Some critical performance parameters like width of the antenna feed and effective wavelength are also taken into consideration.
