Abstract

Uterovaginal anomalies are a spectrum of anomalies which are often associated with renal and sometimes with anorectal malformations. In this chapter we will focus on the use of laparoscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of isolated uterovaginal anomalies in the pediatric age group. We use John Rocks modification of the American Fertility Society classification, which is based on embryologic considerations (Tjaden and Rock 1992). © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2008.
