Abstract

This study aims to determine how high the influence of the principal's leadership on students' learning motivation. To determine the effect of teacher performance on student learning motivation. To determine the effect of principal leadership and teacher performance on student learning motivation. The variables of this research are the principal's leadership, teacher performance and student motivation. The population in this study were students of SMK Dirgantara Putra Bangsa with 89 students. The sample of this research is all of the population as samples, so that the sampling method is census or saturated sample. The method used to collect and is a questionnaire. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis at a significant level of 5%. The results of the study found that the principal's leadership had a positive and significant influence on students' learning motivation. Teacher performance has a positive and significant effect on students' learning motivation. Principal leadership and teacher performance have a simultaneous effect on students' learning motivation. The contribution of principals' leadership and teacher performance to student learning motivation is 75.6%, while the remaining 24.4% are other factors not examined in this study.
