Abstract

Paper presents a methodology of selection of vibroisolation parameters on the example of checkweighter system. Due to the high degree of complexity of analysed system some simplifications were made—main modules are represented by the concentrated masses, connected by the universal models of bonds. Paper presents two methods of determination of bonds parameters. First way requires physical presence of analysed system and can be utilized for applying vibroisolation on developed system in order to minimize vibration transmission from the environment to the system. Second way can be applied during system design which significantly reduces the cost of the further tests. Utilization of Finite Element Method analyses allows to design proper shape of bonds between modules. Presented method utilizes numerical simulations for different parameters of vibroisolation. Based on the results of multi-parameter optimization significant reduction of vibration transmission to the crucial elements of checkweighter system can be achieved. Limiting the transmission of the vibrations to the main weighting module may result with the significant improvement of the mass measurement accuracy.
