Research on the influence of reeds extracts against the growth of chili pepper plants (Capsicumshot frutescens L.) has been carried out in Bina Amarta village in March until June 2020, aims to determine the influence of reeds on the growth of chili pepper plants (Capsicumshot frutescens L.). The research method uses the experiment in complete random draft (RAL), with 6 treatments and 4 repeats. The dose of Alang-Alang extract used is P0 (without the extract of Alang-alang/control), P1 (5gram extracts in 1 liter of water), P2 (10 grams of extract in 1 liter of water), P3 (15 grams of extract in 1 liter of water), P4 (20 grams of extract in 1 liter of water), and P5 (25 grams of extracts The observed parameters include the height of the plant (cm), the diameter of the trunk (cm), and the number of leaves (strands). The results showed that the influential Alang-alang extracts were not real against the growth of plant height, the number of leaves and the diameter of the stem of cayenne pepper. Although it gives an unreal influence to the growth of cayenne pepper, it can be concluded that the best treatment for the height of the plant is P0 produce a high average of 13 cm, for the number of best treatment leaves on the P0 and P2 with an average value of 7.25 strands. For the best rod diameter is P2 which produces the average value of trunk diameter of 0.62 cm. Keywords:
