Abstract

The current issue of the Journal of Contemporary European Studies is the second special edition devoted to the study of right-wing extremism in Europe. Our initial Call for Papers attracted about 60 proposals from all over the world. This striking interest in the study of the extreme/radical right is not surprising: after all, the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR) Standing Group on Extremism & Democracy has nearly 700 members, from 50 different countries. © 2009 Taylor & Francis.
