Abstract

In this work we show a general meta-model for Adaptive Hypermedia Systems (AHSs) and discuss which research issues are necessary in order to improve this model. We argue that this meta-model shall then be described using ontologies from the Semantic Web and argument that a Semantic Meta-Model for AHSs may improve adaptation and serve as a basis for meta-adaptation. © Springer-Verlag; 2004.
