Abstract

The crystal structures and magnetic properties of two-dimensional coordination polymers [M(tdpd)(H2O)2]n (M = Mn2+ and Co2+) involving the triangular lattice are determined. The magnetic behaviors of 1 and 2 may come from the single-ion behavior and the specific arrangement of the metal ions.
