Abstract

The key determination of this empirical study is to analyse the affiliation between Perceived Facilitations for Training and Affective Organisational Commitment of employees of star rated hotels. A survey was conducted among the employees star rated hotels and the sample size is 280 employees based on convenience sampling. Perceived facilitations for training can be categorized into three namely; perceived access to training, perceived trainer quality and perceived motivation for training and their affiliation with affective organizational commitment were investigated. The hypotheses were tested using correlation and multiple regression analysis. The results revealed that perceived facilitations for training have significant relationship with affective commitment of employees of star rated hotels in Karnataka. The implications of the study have been offered for researchers and practitioners of human resource as how to utilize the aspects of facilitations for training to augment the organizational commitment of employees.
