Heterocyclic N-oxides have been shown to be useful in energetic materials applications such as propellants, explosives, and pyrotechnics. This chapter provides a survey of a variety of different heterocyclic N-oxides that have been studied for their energetic materials properties. Where possible, information such as heat of formation, density, detonation pressure (PCJ), and detonation velocity (VD) are provided.
