The normal dosage is 100 mg twice daily. Rectal administration of suppositories is also employed, although to a minor extent. Normal dosage for rectal administration is 200 mg twice daily. In some countries, a suspension of nimesulide and a topical formulation (gel) are also commercially available. Pharmacokinetic studies have been performed with all these formulations.
