Abstract

The development of power modules in radar signal processing systems in a highly integrated, high performance has caused heat dissipation problems such as heat concentration and high thermal losses. In this paper, based on the problem of heat transfer of a high-power module in the radar signal processing system, the design method of the heat pipe radiator is proposed by using the high conductivity of heat pipe. The heat is quickly transferred and dissipated through the heat pipe to solve the problem of high local heat density. Firstly, according to the heat conduction control equation, the initial thermal analysis of the power module with heat pipe radiator is carried out. Then, the layout and structure of the heat pipe are optimized based on the result of the thermal analysis, and the rationality of the results and the effectiveness of heat pipe layout and structural optimization are both verified through numerical simulation and experimental analysis.
