TINGKAT PERENCANAAN KARIR SISWA KELAS XI SMK NEGERI 7 SEMARANG

Abstract

Abstract. The unemployment rate according to BPS data for 2022 places SMK graduates as the highest contributor to unemployment in Indonesia. Even though the purpose of SMK is to prepare students to be able to work in certain fields or in accordance with their majors or to be able to continue to education in accordance with the majors they have studied. From this, one of the contributing factors is the process of student career planning. The sample of this research is XI TME 1 SMK N 7 Semarang, totaling 36 respondents. The data collection method uses a questionnaire via social media, the WhatsApp application. The results of the research on the very low category with a percentage of 0%, the low category by 25%, the high category by 68.75% and the very high category by 6.25%. And the overall results in this category can be concluded that class XI students of SMK N 7 Semarang on career planning abilities are in the High category.Abstrak. Tingkat pengangguran menurut data BPS tahun 2022 menempatkan lulusan SMK sebagai penyumbang tertinggi pengangguran di Indonesia. Padahal tujuan SMK yaitu menyiapkan siswa untuk dapat bekerja di bidang tertentu atau sesuai dengan jurusannya atau dapat melanjutkan ke pendidikan yang sesuai dengan jurusan yang telah dipelajari. Dari hal tersebut salah satu faktor penyebabnya adalah proses perencanaan karir siswa. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu XI TME 1 SMK N 7 Semarang yang berjumlah 36 responden. Untuk metode pengumpulan data menggunakan cara menyebarkan kuisoner melalui media social aplikasi WhatsApp. Hasil dari penelitian pada kategori sangat rendah dengan persentase 0% kategori rendah sebesar 25% kategori tinggi sebesar 68,75% dan pada kategori sangat tinggi sebesar 6,25%. Dan hasil keseluruhan pada kategori ini dapat disimpulkan siswa kelas XI SMK N 7 Semarang pada kemampuan perencanaan karir di kategori Tinggi.
