Abstract

A review. This paper discusses the fundamentals and applications of moderate or intense low oxygen diln. (MILD) combustion. The three parameters such as fuel concn., strain rate and oxidizer preheat temp. are discussed. Partially stirred reactor model has been developed to study the influence of turbulent mixing intensity on MILD combustion and nitrogen oxide formation in gas turbine combustor. [on SciFinder(R)]
