In atopic individuals, inhalants may lead to a variety of clinical syndromes such as allergic rhinitis, asthma, urticaria and atopic dermatitis. Nasal filters consisting of a stainless steel wire gauze (33 μ pores) have proved useful in providing relief in these individuals. © 1981 Dr. K C Chaudhuri Foundation.
