Oral health has been known as an essential indicator of overall health, welfare, and quality of life of an individual. Oral health can be achieved by maintaining oral homeostasis by stabilizing the microbiome and the oral environment. The major oral diseases and conditions reported so far are dental caries, periodontal-related diseases, oral primary and metastatic cancers, oral HIV manifestations, orofacial and odontogenic trauma, cleft lip and palate, and noma. Various herbal products are used in the treatment of oral diseases and oral hygiene maintenance. This chapter presents an overview of the natural herbal products for oral diseases and oral hygiene maintenance. Natural oral care can significantly improve oral health because of its properties and the profound agent of the phytochemicals and other constituents. Nevertheless, taking these medicinal plant products has risks, but these herbal agents’ advantages outweigh the disadvantages. By the accessibility and feasibility of natural oral care agents worldwide, more studies should be undertaken in vitro, in vivo, and in the clinical setting.
