Abstract

The author provides practical advice on the more subtle aspects of preparing the patient for otoplasty in the perioperative setting. These tips have been used in clinical practice and provide a range of solutions to problems encountered during patient positioning, application of drapes, hair preparation, and marking. The intention is to equip the physician with various techniques to tackle these issues and allow the physician to find the methods that work best in his/her hands.
