Abstract

A description is given of a combustion method, which accomplishes in most simple fashion and in a short time the determination of the sulfur or halogen content of organic compounds. Little apparatus is required, and by following the recommended titrimetric procedures accurate analytical results are obtained, which lie within the usual limits of error: ±0.3%. © 1956 Springer-Verlag.
