Issues surrounding embroidery placement are discussed, with the differences between functional corporate placement and decorative designs reviewed. General notes on pocket placement in placket shirts for the corporate world are supplied, with particular reference to twin sets and whether garments are to be worn separately or together, in which case different placement may be advisable. Garment size is also important. More creative solutions are also suggested. Creative embroidery placement on women's wear is explored and headwear possibilities detailed. Hip level pockets, side vents, the cuffs of Capri pants, shorts hemlines are among original solutions. A wide variety of other possibilities for different garments are explored. Embroidery on jackets and costs can be more limiting with some embroidery needing to be applied before the garment is made up. Naming coats and jackets avoids confusion. Overall, creativity and imagination are advocated to enhance garments and improve profits.
