Abstract

Evolutionary algorithms work in an algorithmically simple manner butproduce a huge amount of data. The extraction of useful informationto gain further insight into the state of algorithm is a not-trivialtask. In the paper, we propose a method of analysis of evolutionaryalgorithm by means of a graph theory. The method is inspired by latestresults on scale-free network and small world phenomena. The paperpresents visualization of evolutionary process based on network visualizationsoftware. The properties of such network are analyzed and variousresearch possibilities are discussed.
